"Three Pearls came together, as they were united in the immortal name of art, forming a pearl necklace,
portraying sheer aestheticism and elegance."
In a pursuit of self realisation, I am on a journey – a journey through my own fantasies of which the destination is undefined
It’s the nature around me that evokes the artist in me and kindles my imaginations which provokes me at times. While the inherent passion is irresistibly provoked, I pick my brush to splash colours and wonder how it takes shape.
I am a self-taught, mixed media freelance artist painting for the last 20years. Working mainly on oil and acrylic, all my paintings are the figments of my imagination paonted on canvas.
Following my passion, I love to use my brush and paint creatively capture a likeness. I would like to make a mark with my paint, rather than trying for a photographic smoothness. My work portrays accurate observation created with complex pattern of painterly expressive marks.
I started showing an interest yowarfs drawing and colouring right from the age of about 4. It was my nursery teacher who encouraged me by once taking me around the entire primary school class rooms along with my drawing so that the other children got to see my drawing that my teacher called really beautiful.
Then there was no looking back. I took part in all the interschool painting competitions and won several prizes , also standing first in Bangalore for three consecutive years at the Camlin Colour Contest .
